Iran's New President

Remember when Iranian islamists, backed by Khomeini, who had returned to Iran with the blessings of France, invaded the sovereign territory of the US embassy in 1979 and held Americans hostage for 444 days?

This act of war went unpunished, and one can consider a state of war to have existed since then. We only finally noticed it a few years ago.

Well check out this interesting photo that has surfaced.

Now look at these photos of Iran's new "president", hand-picked by the Supreme Leader in a sham "election."

Same guy!

He was apparently one of the ringleaders, a security chief and observer of the interrogations of the hostages.

See stories here and here.

What does the MSM have to say?

After mentioning that 5 ex-hostages seem to think it might be the same man, they then do all they can to discredit the idea, quoting some other ex-hostages who can't remember, and noting that in 25 years memories will fade, especially for identifying people from another ethnicity (really?), and that well, Iranian spokespeople deny it.
Not everyone agrees. Former hostage and retired Air Force Col. Thomas E. Schaefer said he doesn't recognize Ahmadinejad, by face or name, as one of his captors.

Several former students among the hostage-takers also said Ahmadinejad did not participate. And a close aide to Ahmadinejad denied the president-elect took part in the seizure of the embassy or in holding Americans hostage.
So, end of story! Move along!

NOT!

Just look at the photos!

So, Iran's president is a hostile invader of US territory, and violator of the most basic rules of civilized diplomacy, and thus should be made an example of.

Thank you, Jimmy Carter...WORST PRESIDENT EVER!!!
